On Foot: Grove House is approximately 5 minutes’ walk from Ilkley Train and Bus Stations.
By Bus: The following local bus routes all stop at Ilkley Bus Station:
62 from Keighley, 62 from Leeds Bradford Airport via Otley, 962 from Otley, X52 from Harrogate, X84 from Leeds and X84 from Skipton
By Car: The postcode for Sat Nav is LS29 9BF and there is a small free car park available at Grove House. A larger car park (payable) in the centre of Ilkley is just a few minutes walk away (postcode for Sat Nav is LS29 9DW.)
Our main goal is to let you know about career opportunities at Abbeyfield The Dales.
We are recruiting across all of our sites, and current job vacancies will be advertised on the day. Members of our Recruitment Team will be available to provide further information, answer any questions and to assist you with completing application forms.
Interviews will be held on the day, with the potential to receive an immediate job offer if you are successful.
We will also be arranging interview dates following these Open Days, so if you aren’t able to interview on the day, please do not worry. We will be in touch soon after to arrange an interview date and time for you.
You will be able to learn all about our award winning Training and Development Opportunities at Abbeyfield The Dales, from our excellent In-House Training Team.
Our Volunteer Manager and Activities Coordinator will also be on hand to let you know about volunteering opportunities and the wide range of events taking place at Abbeyfield The Dales.
As you will be able to apply and interview on the day, we would suggest bringing the following:
– Any relevant certificates
– Details of at least two professional references, including your current/latest employer
– 2 documents that prove your ID, and 1 document that proves your current address (Click here for further details)
All job offers made by Abbeyfield The Dales are subject to Enhanced DBS Clearance, satisfactory references, and a 3 month probationary period.
You will be able to begin your application for a DBS certificate on the day, if you are successful in receiving a job offer.
